About HPPHealth Promotion Programs (HPP) was incorporated into the University of Oklahoma's University OUTREACH ~ College of Continuing Education in 1985 to address emerging health needs, particularly among Native people across North America and Canada. HPP has provided an array of services in the wellness area (conferences, trainings, workshops, research activities, technical assistance) and has assisted communities, tribes, agencies and individuals in promoting healthy lifestyles. HPP has facilitated over one hundred native gatherings in the past 20 years, and is considered a national leader among training organizations with a Native focus.
