Women & Men's Wellness Conference

The American Indian Institute’s HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAMS at the University of Oklahoma at the University of Oklahoma proudly announces the 8th Native Women & Men’s Wellness Conference. This annual event is recognized as the largest wellness conference for Native and Indigenous people throughout North America.
This will be a powerful gathering of Native women and men walking a path of personal wellness and providing healthy support for people in need within their families, work settings and communities.
Conference Hotel Information

The Town & Country Resort, 500 Hotel Circle
North, San Diego, CA will be the site for the
conference. Located in the heart of San Diego
on 32 acres of lush gardens and grounds, this
conference setting is designed as a casual and
relaxed place, either for peace and privacy or
networking and socializing. Scenic gardens
feature 1,500 rose bushes and 2,000 palm
trees.
The hotel is convenient to all the city’s
cultural sights and famous attractions, and is just 15 minutes from the San Diego airport.
By crossing the short footbridge over the San
Diego River, you can shop the Fashion Valley
Mall, eat at a variety of restaurants, or play a
27-hole championship golf course, as well as
take advantage of a trolley stop that provides
transportation throughout San Diego, all the
way to the Mexican border. If you stay on
the resort grounds, you can take advantage
of beautiful garden walkways, four outdoor
swimming pools, an outdoor whirlpool spa,
five different restaurants, and a European-style
health spa.
Room Rates: A special room rate of $99, Single/Double or $109, Triple/Quad (plus tax) per night has been obtained for conference participants who make their reservations by March 16th. Hotel check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am. A one night’s room deposit is required to confirm a reservation.
